PC Lauren Davies and her colleague discussed the many and varied roles in the police force, including specialist roles such as dog handling, firearms, traffic and the many civilian roles including CSI and digital forensics. There was an opportunity for a Q&A at the end which included discussion about the equipment a PC carries, the ages and training of police dogs, the process of arrest, custody and charge, and the specific qualifications and training required for various roles.
