Year 12

Learners study:

The Early half of a course focused on revolution and dictatorship in the Soviet Union as well as the early half of a course centred on Tudor England. Learners will begin preparation for the independent investigation worth 20% of final A Level.

Year 13

Learners study:

Elements of the Soviet course which examines how Stalin was able to control the Soviet Union until his death in 1953. The Tudor course considers the later Tudor Monarchs and ends with the death of Elizabeth.
