Essay project topics: Social media algorithms,  the Holocaust and inherited trauma, BPD, athletes and plant-based diets, veterinary bionic surgery, stem-cell research, A.I., the education system in Bangladesh, work practices in China, returning artefacts to the countries of origin, meritocracy and poverty, de-extinctifying animals, hip-hop’s cultural influence, synthetic fuels and the economic crisis of 2008.

  • Can mobile phones be considered a major factor in spreading pathogens and illness?

Artefact-projects: A poetry anthology, a roll-up coat that works from solar energy for homeless people and Harry Styles’ costume.  The learners researched, designed and evaluated a product and recorded their production-processes.  The projects have to be linked to research.  They also wrote a 1000-word report where they demonstrated evidence of the research and wrote about the production and testing of the product.
