This event will be a wine tasting experience.  Any profits raised will be used to enhance schools funds. We are Business students and are organising this evening to develop experience of real life event management. 

 

The event will give you an opportunity to sample many wines and present an opportunity to buy the ones you like, just in time for Christmas.  Tickets will be £10 per person, this will allow you entry and the ability to sample all the many wines available.

 

We are very fortunate to be able to run this event alongside Chester Beer and Wine, who run many such events. They will have experts available to introduce you to the world of fine wine at a cost to suit all pockets and they will broaden your horizons and answer any queries you may have.  For example what wines go best with a turkey?   What wines go best with Christmas pudding?   What wines work best after a meal?  We believe tickets will sell out quickly and therefore urge you to get your tickets early as places will be limited.   Tickets can be purchased via Student Reception by cash or cheque made payable to Upton High School Fund or online via your child’s online account. They were founded in 2005 by Samantha Jackson. The shop is a specialist wine and craft beer shop, currently based in Hoole but shortly moving to Handbridge. The shop is friendly and unpretentious, but packs quality into every bottle and can. Over the years the shop has won many local and national awards, and also specialises in tasting events, holding wine, gin, beer and whisky tasting events.
