Exciting Progress on Our New School Building
As many of you will have seen, our new school building is progressing at an impressive pace. Recent weeks have seen significant developments on site, with windows being installed and work beginning on the exterior envelope. Over the summer holidays, brickwork and the installation of the building's permanent external cladding will begin, transforming its appearance and giving everyone a much clearer sense of the school's final design. It is wonderful to see the building taking shape and to imagine the opportunities it will create for our learners and wider school community.
As we prepare for this exciting next chapter, we will soon be turning our attention to the furniture needed to bring these outstanding new learning spaces to life. While the new building and its built-in facilities are being provided through the School Rebuilding Programme, significant investment is still required in the furniture that will fill these new spaces. Through our Building the Future campaign, we will be inviting our school community to help us create inspiring learning environments by contributing towards the furniture that our learners will use every day.
In September, we will officially launch the campaign and invite parents, carers, alumni and friends of the school to play their part in helping us create exceptional spaces where learners can learn, collaborate and thrive. Every contribution, no matter the size, will help us make the very most of these remarkable new facilities and ensure they have a lasting impact on the educational experience of our young people.
We look forward to sharing further details after the summer break and hope that you will join us in helping to build a bright future for our learners.
Thank you, as always, for your continued support.
With very best wishes,
Mr L Cummins
