Dear Parents and Carers,
As we reach the end of this half-term, I want to take a moment to reflect on what a positive and successful few weeks it has been across the school.
A particular well done must go to our Year 11 and Year 13 learners, who have shown real determination and maturity as they embarked on the first phase of their public examinations. Their focus, resilience, and positive attitude have been inspiring, and we are confident that their hard work will pay off. Thank you also to parents and carers for the vital support you have provided at home during this time.
Beyond the exam hall, it has been wonderful to see so many of our learners engaging in a range of enriching opportunities this half-term. From sports fixtures and Duke of Edinburgh expeditions, to theatre trips and art exhibitions, our learners have embraced every opportunity to grow, connect, and shine. These experiences are so important in helping our young people develop into well-rounded individuals with confidence, curiosity, and a sense of community.
As we head into the half-term break, I want to thank you all for your continued support and partnership. I wish you and your families a restful and enjoyable week, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back refreshed and ready for the final half-term of the year.
With very best wishes,
Mr L Cummins
