Dear Parents and Carers,
It is hard to believe that we are now in the penultimate week of the academic year. As you will be aware, last week saw the publication of the Upton Voice. Just a quick scan through this magazine highlights the range of activities that learners have participated in and/ or led. It doesn't take long to see how our learners are learning to shape the future.
This morning I had the privilege of seeing off our Year 9 and 10 learners who are heading to Florida. This afternoon I am eagerly awaiting the return of our Year 8 learners who have taken part in a 2-night residential, news of which suggests they have had an amazing time. There have also been 20 plus learners from Year 12 taking part in the Gold Duke of Edinburgh award. All of this taking place outside of school and so much taking place inside of school.
We look forward to the next few days to mark the end of this academic year. Please be reminded that learners are permitted to wear their own clothes on Tuesday 22nd July for a donation of £1.
This will be my last bulletin for this academic year, so I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your continued support. It is only with your support that we can together ensure that all of our learners achieve their potential.
With very best wishes,
Mr L Cummins
