Well, that is the end of another term at Upton-by-Chester High School.
As we come to the end of a very successful term, I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate our learners on their outstanding efforts and achievements. It has been a pleasure to see them continue to embody our school values of Community, Ambition, Resilience, Diligence, and Inclusion.
Highlights from this past week include our Year 11 students receiving their mock examination results and the wonderful Christmas Concert. The concert, held on Thursday evening at St Columba’s RC Church in Chester, was a truly memorable occasion. I was amazed by the talent and dedication shown by our learners, and I hope those of you who were able to join us enjoyed the celebration as much as I did.
As we look ahead, I would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We look forward to welcoming learners back for the start of the spring term on Monday, 5 January 2026.
With very best wishes,
Mr L Cummins
