Headteacher's Message

Dear Parents and Carers,

I am writing to share a short update ahead of the start of term, as there are a couple of important messages we wanted to communicate before learners return on Monday.

I do hope that all families have enjoyed a restful Spring break and that our learners are feeling refreshed and ready to return to school as normal on Monday 20th April. We are very much looking forward to welcoming everyone back.

A gentle reminder that all learners should be on site by 8:35am, and lined up with their tutor groups by 8:40am to ensure a prompt and purposeful start to the day.

Over the holiday period, there has been a significant amount of progress on our new school building. The steel structure is now complete, and concrete flooring has been laid in almost all areas of the building. It is exciting to see such visible developments, and we look forward to sharing further updates as the project continues to take shape.

I would also like to extend my sincere thanks to those learners who attended revision sessions over the break. It was fantastic to see record numbers of Year 11 and Year 13 learners in school, demonstrating real commitment to their studies. We will continue to support all of our examination year groups as they prepare for their upcoming external examinations, and we are confident that their hard work will pay off.

Thank you, as always, for your continued support. We look forward to a positive and productive term ahead.

Yours sincerely,
Mr L Cummins

Cheshire College South and West- Final open evening

Thursday, 23rd April, is our final open evening of the year. If any of your Year 11 pupils are yet to decide on their next destination or course, we would strongly encourage them to attend. The event is a great opportunity to explore the wide range of courses and opportunities available at Cheshire College South & West.

The open evening is open to all pupils, and it has been encouraging to see an increasing number of Year 9 and 10 pupils attending as well.

We do ask that pupils sign up in advance where possible, although they are still welcome to attend without doing so. Pupils can register using the link below:
