Our learners are celebrating another year of impressive A-Level results, with strong performance across the cohort.
The school is proud to announce that over a quarter of all grades achieved were A*-A, and well over half were A*-B, demonstrating the learners' hard work and dedication regardless of their academic starting point.
These impressive results have paved the way for learners to pursue a wide range of exciting opportunities. Many will be heading to prestigious universities, including Oxford and Imperial College London, to study highly competitive subjects like Medicine, Law, Biochemistry, and Economics. The school is also delighted to see a significant number of learners opting to take on apprenticeship roles with local, national, and international enterprises.
"It delights us as a school that our learners have achieved their strong grades, enabling them to make such positive next steps," said Mr Lewis, Director of KS5. "Our learners are leaving us ready to flourish in their chosen next steps whether that be at university, on their apprenticeship courses, or in the world of work."
Lee Cummins, Headteacher, said he was delighted with the results of the Year 13 cohort. He added “The learners have achieved a great set of results across a range of A level subjects and vocational qualifications. We are proud of the achievements of every one of our young people. The Sixth Form provision in the school is something we are really proud of both in terms of the range of courses available and the standards that our learners achieve. These results are reflective of the hard work of learners and staff in the school. We couldn’t do any of this without the great support we receive from parents and carers and I would like to thank them for their support and making sure every young person achieved at the highest level. I would also like to thank the staff for all the work they have done to ensure these fantastic results.”
Standout individual achievements include Chantelle Jacobs, Rose Draper, and George Spence, who each obtained an amazing four A*s. Ewen Nemeth, Alice Mortimer, Maya Malcolm, and Bharat Dhillon all achieved at least two A*s. In addition to these outstanding grades, the school wishes to congratulate all learners in the Class of 2025 for their impressive results, with a special mention to James Kettle, Ismael Ali, Stanley Carr, Zach Scully, Emily Nevin, Harry Owens, and Taniya Hoque for their exceptional progress.
