Superb A Level results yet again

Our Headteacher, Paula Dixon, is delighted to announce that this year’s A level and AS Level results are even better than last year.

“77% of our results are at A*-C grades and 97% A*-E, a truly superb achievement which further confirms our OfSTED judgement of Outstanding!

The hard work and determination of our staff and students, combined with the excellent support from parents and carers has ensured this success. I would like to congratulate all of our students for their outstanding achievements and wish them the very best of luck for their continuing success in the future.”

Amongst some of the top achievers are:

Joel Russell who gained 3 A* and 1 A in English Lit, Media, EPQ and Art and has gained a place on the prestigious Creative Writing course at Warwick.

Anna Geertsma-Dolton who achieved A* in Maths, A* in Further Maths and A in Physics, and will be reading Maths at Durham University.

Ewan Cook achieved A* in Maths, A in Chemistry, A in Physics and A in EPQ and is off to Nottingham to study Chemical Engineering.

Daniel Stroud who achieved A* in Maths, A in Computer Science and A in Physics and is off to Nottingham to study Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence.

Natasha Mason who achieved 3 straight A grades in English Lit, Media Studies and Psychology and is off to Loughborough to study Retail Management and Marketing.

Louisa Nicholson who gained 3 straight A grades in English Lit, Government and Politics and Sociology and is off to Sheffield to read Politics and International Relations.

Lydia Draycott who achieved A* in Fine Art, A in English Lit and B in History and will study Musical Theatre and Performance at Chester.

Austin Turner who gained A in Biology, A in Maths and B in Chemistry and is going to York to study Molecular Biology.

Sophie Searle who achieved A grades in Geography and Psychology and B in Biology and will read Psychology at Sheffield.

Georgina Pritchard is going to the university of Leeds to study International Development having gained A in English Lit, A in Government and Politics and B in Geography.

India Cotgreave who achieved A in English Lit, A in Sociology and B in Psychology and will study Educational Studies at Liverpool JMU.
