The Wool4School completion is open to students from across the UK who are studying GCSE D&T Soft Materials and A-level Fashion & Textiles. This is the first year that Upton by Chester High School have participated in the competition, so it is fantastic to see the talent of our students recognised.

This year, Wool4School challenged students to design an innovative outfit that incorporates technology into their design. Eugenie wowed the judges with her coat design which focussed on providing comfort for people in need. The design included solar panels to provide energy for the coat to serve as an electric blanket at night. It also included headphones in the hood to listen to the radio and can be turned into a sleeping bag.
