The event was hosted in The Square (the Zoo's brand new venue) and the group enjoyed some refreshments before settling down to listen to local council candidates. They heard from Labour, The Green Party, Liberal Democrats and The Conservative Party. All candidates gave their views on environmental issues including energy, river pollution and active travel.
