Stellantis ‘Women in Engineering’ Event

Three learners from Year 9 had a fantastic opportunity on Wednesday to attend an event at Stellantis in Ellesmere Port (formerly Vauxhall), aimed at inspiring and empowering young girls to explore the world of Engineering.

Throughout the day they were immersed in a world of innovation and saw how the site is being transformed for a new era of electrical vehicle manufacturing. They had the chance to do a ‘Spot the Defects’ exercise with Colin in Quality and went on the Test Track for electric vans, which was a real highlight!

Events like this play a crucial role in breaking down gender barriers and encouraging young women to explore Careers in STEM. Our thanks to Stellantis for a great day!
