National Poetry Day
The English department celebrated National Poetry Day yesterday with a lesson on Spoken Word poetry and performance for all Key Stage 3 classes.
Learners watched a video of a local performer and were taught the techniques to write their own poems. Learners performed their Spoken Word pieces with gusto and really impressed their teachers!
