At Upton-by-Chester High School, our curriculum has been designed to teach the learners to celebrate difference and diversity, and respect is central to our core values.

February is LGBT history month and I have a number of resources I would like to share with you.

We recently achieved our skilled teacher award for the second time. We have a vibrant LGBT+ club which meets in school every Wednesday evening and is open to all year groups. Members of staff who are available to discuss anything to do with the LGBT community wear rainbow lanyards and are there to support all learners.
