MyMind (https://www.mymind.org.uk/) is a dedicated website for young people across Cheshire and Wirral experiencing mental health difficulties. MyMind provides advice and guidance around the key topics identified as most important to young people and their families: how to cope with mental health challenges, how to get help and what to do in a crisis.
The site includes a host of interactive self-help resources for young people, parents/carers and anyone who works with young people around the topics of Mood, Lifestyle and Relationships, as well as details on local mental health services in our area.
The “My Well-being” Website (http://www.mywell-being.org.uk/) is a resource for Children, Young People, Parents/Carers and Professionals to use as a resource for useful information, advice and pathways for support. It enables young people to access online support and provide contact details for the School Nursing Service in their locality.
The Website supports the work that is already being delivered by School Nursing teams who provide a range of health services to children and young people such as immunisations, health screening, support in school or community settings, drop in services and safeguarding. It also aims to empower you as a young person to make good choices about your health and well-being.
Shout is the UK’s first free 24/7 text service for anyone in crisis anytime, anywhere. It’s a place to go if you’re struggling to cope and you need immediate help.
We’re leading the fight for a future where all young minds are supported and empowered, whatever the challenges.
We offer a safe place for you to talk any time you like, in your own way – about whatever’s getting to you.
healthtalk.org provides free, reliable information about health issues, by sharing people's real-life experiences. You can watch people sharing their stories about cancer, autism, motor-neurone disease, pregnancy, drugs, depression and much more.
We won’t give up until everyone experiencing a mental health problem gets support and respect.
