Findings from a survey conducted by Barclays Lifeskills and the charity Education and Employers reveals that contact with employers does result in a career boost in later life. The evidence is clear: students are significantly less likely to become NEET (not in education, employment or training) if they experience four or more contacts with employers before they leave school.

Gatsby 4 specifically requires curriculum areas to link curriculum learning with Careers and  to embrace employer- led learning, using industry professionals and resources to help deliver lessons, blending Careers with academic learning and providing our students with the motivation to succeed.
