I really enjoyed my first two years at Upton, they both went very quickly and were filled with interesting lessons that I feel I have learnt lots in. The extra-curricular activities are varied, and I enjoy being part of the band as it allows me to play my instrument (flute) with other talented musicians. I am involved in the school council which gives an insight into how the school is run; I feel privileged to be part of the student voice. The trips I have had the opportunity to go on have been amazing and provided me with a chance to see people in a different light. We have been to PGL Boreatton and tried new activities and I recently enjoyed a performance of Romeo and Juliet organized by the English Department.

I settled very quickly at Upton High and I feel that teachers are encouraging and passionate about their subject. I was a Senior Prefect in Year 11 and I have developed my leadership skills in the sixth form.

I am grateful for all the opportunities the school has offered me so far.

Over the last couple of years, I have attended some of the after school clubs, my favourite being the badminton club.

The school offers a wide array of experiences and educational visits. I went to Florida with the Science department  and this was definitely inspiring. I particularly enjoyed visiting NASA.

I have really enjoyed my time at Upton High School and have loved all the opportunities this school has given me. I was able to settle in quickly and found all of the teachers to be very encouraging and lessons exciting.

Since joining, I've been able to participate in many extra-curricular activities including music lessons and trips to see live theatre with the drama club.

I have also taken on the role of a Language Leader and Form Representative, both of which, have developed my communication and leadership skills. I think that this is an amazing school to learn at with many fantastic opportunities.
